wolf in eagles' clothing (Assassin's Creed, Federico/Vieri)

Titlewolf in eagles’ clothing
Author[livejournal.com profile] djsoliloquy
Fandom: Assassin’s Creed (2)
Rating: PG-13
Characters/Pairings: Federico/Vieri.
Summary: Federico mixes business with psychologcal warfare pleasure and Vieri is way out of his depth.

Notes: Inspired by a kink meme prompt asking for a person wearing someone else’s clothes after sex.

Federico wakes pleasantly sore. Beside him, Vieri de’ Pazzi frees himself from the tangle of blankets and staggers from bed. Much sorer, Federico would be willing to bet.

He smiles to himself and feigns sleep, tucking his face against the pillow to maintain the crucial element of surprise. Though Federico can’t help but look down on him, Vieri is still dangerous, would be more so if he had the wits to suspect Federico’s heritage—and not the banking, of course.

Shifting gives him a wider view of the room; he watches his enemy and bedroom visitor crouch over a pile of their clothing, picking at and tossing aside his sullied garments before pulling Federico’s shirt over his shoulders instead.

And that. That perks Federico’s interest. Appealing and exciting somehow, watching Vieri in blind desperation turn to wearing Federico's clothes, being enveloped by them and so, in a way, by their original owner as well. Where Federico’s skin has touched there Vieri is, being held by the same fabric. With any luck he will smell Federico on himself long after removing it.

Oh, yes. From fighting Vieri all the way (unexpectedly!) to bed, to waking up to this, Federico considers the night a successful campaign. Vieri de’ Pazzi carries a few interesting documents on his person, which Federico took the time to examine after Vieri fell into an exhausted sleep. It seemed rude to wake him for as trivial a matter as going through Vieri’s own pockets, particularly when he wasn’t wearing them at the time.

Vieri stands, still heedless of his surroundings and audience as he untangle his hosen from the top of the mirror. Federico's shirt hangs loose on him, but Vieri has a longer torso; when he extends his arm, the edge of the shirt lifts over his rear. Still a warm pink from Federico’s hand. Federico smirks at the sight and strategically stuffs the coverlet aside while Vieri’s distracted, finally pushing himself up on his arm. “A common thief now, Vieri?” Federico says. He sighs dramatically and clicks his tongue. “Not surprising. Though you should try my other jacket. I find it goes better with that shirt.”

His enemy crouches low, spinning towards the voice, but all menace has been stripped by circumstance. Federico merely smiles. Vieri is surrounded in every way—in Federico’s room, recently Federico’s bed, and now his clothes and the shock to his spirit at finding Federico relaxed and comfortably nude upon the bed. It may be a mere exercise in mental combat to Federico, but it’s still satisfying to know he probably can't imagine the depths of Vieri's shame right now.

“Everything of mine is torn!” Vieri says, rallying and drawing himself up. He hunches down again when the bottom of the shirt lifts too high for comfort. “They were more expensive than you can appreciate. And why am I shocked? You're a coward and a heavy-handed oaf.”

He seems to be struggling for a good biting remark, so Federico forgives him the poor retaliation and enjoys another glance at Veiri’s reddened bottom. “Is that so?” He swings his legs out of bed and stands, without shame, and Vieri subtly shifts into a steadier protective stance. Vieri may be a bully, but he isn’t entirely an idiot. Federico’s eyes narrow. “Is that how you've found me to be, Vieri? Heavy-handed?” He catches Vieri’s wrists when he lunges in for a clumsy strike. “Well! I had no idea you were this eager to join us. You only had to ask.”

He holds Vieri too close for him to lash out again. The warm crumpled shirt is crushed between them, and Federico tangles his hands in it to keep his grip. “Join you?” A spark of suspicion lights Vieri's dull face. “What are you talking about?”

Federico grins.

“Consider that I was inside you last night, and this morning I woke to find you wearing my clothes,” he says cheerfully. “It seems you're Auditore inside and out now, aren't you?”

Vieri has to work through the question first, but it’s worth every vile moment spent in his company to see his dumb shocked expression teeter over the edge of frenzied indignation when Federico's words finally hits their mark.
